Terms of Service

Last updated October 29, 2026

These terms cover your use of Pulse, the apps for convenience stores and small food-service businesses on cstorepulse.com, provided by Empire Innovations (“we”, “us”). By using Pulse you agree to them. If your business has a signed agreement with us, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms.

Accounts

  • Accounts are by invitation from your business or from us.
  • Keep your sign-in private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Your business decides who has access and what each person can do, and can remove access at any time.

Your data

  • Your business owns the data it puts into Pulse. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you.
  • You can export your data at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.
  • You confirm you have the right to connect the systems and upload the documents you give us.

Using Pulse properly

Don't misuse Pulse. In particular, don't:

  • try to reach another business's data, or get around security or access limits;
  • interfere with the service, or overload it on purpose;
  • use Pulse for anything unlawful;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.

Numbers, suggestions and AI

Pulse shows figures built from the data it receives, and marks where that data is incomplete. Suggestions, including anything produced with AI, are drafts. A person at your business reviews and approves them before anything is saved, posted or sent. Decisions about prices, orders, bookkeeping and taxes remain your business's, and you should check important figures before relying on them.

Connected systems

Pulse can read from systems your business uses, such as a point-of-sale back office, a tank monitor or accounting software. Those systems belong to their makers and are governed by their own terms. Pulse changes them only where you have turned that on and approved the change.

Fees

Fees, if any, are set out in your business's order or agreement with us.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Pulse running and your data safe, but we can't promise the service will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features over time, and will give notice of changes that matter.

Ending use

Your business can stop using Pulse at any time, and can export its data before it goes. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

Disclaimers and limits

Pulse is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your business paid us for Pulse in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell account owners about important changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Pulse after that means you accept the updated terms.
